When can I clean my tinted windows?

Wait at least 7 days before cleaning. Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth.

How long will my window tint last?

Carbon films last 5 years. Ceramic or metalized films can last up to 20 years.

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

What is paint protection film (PPF)?

PPF is a clear, flexible urethane film applied to protect vehicle paint from scratches, chips, and debris. It has been used in high-demand industries (like aviation) for decades and is proven to protect vehicle paint.

Where can PPF be applied?

PPF can be applied to nearly any part of your vehicle, inside or out.

Do I need to prep my car before PPF installation?

We recommend washing your car prior to your appointment for optimal results.

How do I care for my PPF?

Wash it like you would your car's paint, using non-abrasive products. Touchless car washes are recommended. You can apply ceramic coating on top of the PPF to further protect the finish from oxidation and staining.

Can I wash my car after PPF installation?

Wait at least 2 weeks after installation for the film to fully cure.

Can PPF be removed?

Yes. When removed professionally and within the film's lifespan, it does not damage the OEM paint underneath.

Color PPF

What is Color PPF?

A paint protection film available in multiple colors and finishes that changes your car's appearance and protects paint.

How does Color PPF differ from a vinyl wrap?

Color PPF is 4x thicker than vinyl and delivers paint protection in addition to a unique finish.

How long does Color PPF last?

Typically 5-7 years, depending on the level of exposure and maintenance.

Vinyl Wraps

What is a vinyl wrap?

A colored or graphic film applied to your car's exterior to change its look and protect against minor damage.

How long does a vinyl wrap last?

Typically 3-5 years, depending on care and exposure level.

Will removing a wrap damage my paint?

When installed and removed properly on OEM paint, vinyl wraps won't damage your paint.

How do I maintain my wrapped car?

Wash gently with microfiber towels and store indoors if possible. Use a two bucket system and pre soak the car well prior to washing it with a sponge. Avoid dry rubbing/wiping that may cause swirl marks.

Ceramic Coating

What is ceramic coating?

A semi-permanent, clear protective liquid that shields your car's paint from UV fading, dirt, stains, and oxidation. It creates a layer on top of your clear coat that is 3x stronger than your factory clear coat.

How long does ceramic coating last?

With proper care, ceramic coatings can last for several years. Don't forget to do a yearly top up to rejuvenate the hydrophobic effect.

Do I still need to wash my car after ceramic coating?

Yes, but you'll find it much easier to clean! Use only clean microfiber and gentle car shampoo. Air drying is highly recommended to avoid accumulation of swirls marks.

Windshield Protection Film

What is windshield protection film?

Windshield protection film is a nearly invisible polyurethane layer installed on your windshield to absorb impacts, resist scratches, and prevent chips and cracks caused by rocks, gravel, or road debris.

Will windshield protection film affect my visibility or night driving?

No, high-quality films used at SRS Tints are optically clear and designed not to affect clarity or visibility, even at night.

Will removing windshield protection film damage my windshield?

Windshield protection film can be removed by a professional leaving no residue or damage on the glass.
